Education/Degree: Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology

Why Pursue a Career in Designing? Of course, creating beautiful things is so fun and has always been a passion of mine, however it’s really the problem or puzzle solving piece of design that I love. Using design forward thinking to create unique and purposeful solutions that are catered to each individual client is so exciting to me! Being challenged to get creative and find a solution for a presented problem can lead to a lot of amazing discoveries.

How Long Have You Been Designing: 9 Years

Proud Design Achievement: Becoming an NCIDQ licensed interior designer!

Favorite Part of Designing & Why: This is a tough one! But I think my favorite part is seeing the client start to get excited about their project when they see their vision come to life. It is such a rewarding feeling knowing you are helping someone reach their goals or dreams for their home. Many of our clients have been waiting years and years to their house dreams a reality and being a part of that is really something special.

Why Emily’s: Not only does Emily’s have an amazing team and culture around the office, but we also have a really unique process that I think sets us apart from so many other industry service providers. We take the utmost care in ensuring our clients are happy with their projects from the beginning design stages all the way to closeout. That’s something I really wanted to be a part of!

What makes you (Emily’s) unique from other designers in your industry and what can a customer experience by working directly with you (us)? I love to be extremely hands on throughout the entire design process, from creating conceptual designs, to finish selections and then installation I want to make sure that everything is meeting our clients expectations and that we can be proactive to help avoid any bumps in the road along the way.
